How It Works
Microneedling is a more intense form of facial acupuncture using a specialized pen to insert very fine microneedles into the skin, stimulating a cascading wound response. The body responds by generating collagen and elastin that fill the wrinkle naturally. Blood flow and oxygen to the cells increase, leaving the skin looking fuller, plumper and smoother.
Our comprehensive therapeutic approach adds red light therapy to enhance cellular repair and collagen production.

How many microneedling treatments do I need?
For optimal results, 4 treatments booked 4 – 6 weeks apart.
In keeping with a Traditional Chinese Medicine approach, microneedling pairs beautifully with facial (cosmetic/aesthetic) acupuncture, supporting your skin from the outside while nurturing balance and circulation from within.
How much does microneedling cost?
The Microneedling with Red Light Therapy Package treatment is $325 for face only, and $375 for face and neck. Your 75 minute session will begin with a soothing facial cleanse, followed by the application of numbing cream for your optimal comfort. This stays on for about 15 minutes, then your needling will start. Red light therapy is then applied for 15 minutes. You will receive an “At Home Care Kit” (value $75) to ensure optimal results.

CLEAN & HYDRATE
The most important thing after microneedling is to keep your skin clean and hydrated with hyaluronic acid.
CAN I EXERCISE?
Do not exercise right after your treatment. Sweat will irritate your skin and may cause infection.
SUN PROTECTION
No direct sun exposure for a least 7 days. Make sure to apply sunblock!
MAKEUP
Right after your treatment, do not wear makeup and only splash your face with water. Apply hyaluronic acid.
No Retinols
Avoid retinols for at least 7 days post treatment. They can cause irritation.
Bleeding or bumps
You may have pinprick bleeding and your skin may also shed following your session. This is all normal. If white bumps (Milia) come up within 12-24 hours of treatment, it means the needling may have been too deep, or you may have heightened skin sensitivity. Keep your face clean and apply hyaluronic acid. The bumps will dissipate, but if you’re worried, contact a dermatologist. They can prescribe an antibiotic to ensure there is no infection.
FREQUENCY
Microneedling should only be done once per month for optimal collagen production.
WHEN WILL I SEE RESULTS?
You will see a change in your skin’s tone and texture within two weeks.
IMPORTANT NOTE
Microneedling is not recommended for: pregnant women or those who are breastfeeding, people undergoing chemotherapy/radiation, those with severe eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, blood thinners, keloid scarring, or compromised immune issues — HIV, inflamed acne, cystic breakouts.
